The doctors at Advanced Pain Medicine Associates in Wichita, Kansas, deal exclusively with pain management and treatment. We have experience with acute, chronic and malignant pain. Our doctors treat conditions like Fibromyalgia, Peripheral Neuropathy, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy and more every day.

At Advanced Pain Medicine Associates, we do all treatment and procedures in-house at our Wichita office. We use the latest technology and equipment for pain management procedures, including Kyphoplasty, sensory testing, nerve and joint injections, and discography.

Dr. Jon Parks

M.D.

Dr. Parks received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baker University, and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine in 1990 and completed his Residency in Anesthesiology in 1993. Dr. Parks started his medical career at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO, where he held the position of Director of Anesthesiology. He held that position for six years before joining Johnson County Anesthesia Associates in 1998. Two years later, Dr. Parks responded to an opportunity in Wichita, KS, becoming Vice President of Kansas Professional Anesthesia and Pain Management. Dr. Parks founded Advanced Anesthesiology and Pain Management in 2000 (Now Advanced Pain Medicine Assoc.). Dr. Parks is a Member of the following organizations: American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Pain Society, American Neuromodulation Society, Kansas State Medical Society, Kansas Society of Anesthesia, Sedgwick County Medical Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Medicine, Kansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield Liaison Committee and World Institute of Pain.

Dr. George Fluter

M.D.

George Fluter graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1987. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. His practice focuses on medical-legal evaluations and outpatient treatment of painful conditions. Dr. Fluter is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Fellow Member of the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation. .

Lien Graham

P.A.

Lien Graham is a member of the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and is current with the NCCPA certification. Lien has been practicing since 1997, right after graduating from the Wichita State University Physician Assistant program. She has experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and has been practicing since 2004 in Pain Management.

Rita Simpson

Rita N. Simpson is a member of the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and is current with the NCCPA certification. Rita has been practicing since 1983, when she graduated from the Wichita State University Physician Assistant program. She has experience in Family Practice, Allergy & Asthma and has been practicing since 2001 in pain management.
