Dr. Jon C. Parks named President and CEO of the Kansas Society of Interventional Pain Physicians

Advanced Pain Medicine Associates is proud to announce that Dr. Jon C. Parks has been named as the new President and CEO of the Kansas Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, http://www.asipp.org/Kansas.htm

Dr. Parks will represent Interventional Pain Physicians in the state of Kansas through the parent organization, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP).  “ASIPP was formed in 1998 with the goal of promoting the development and practice of safe, high quality yet cost effective interventional pain management techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of pain and related disorders, and to ensure patient access to these interventions.”

Dr. Jon C. Parks received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baker University, and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas - School of Medicine. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine in 1990 and completed his Residency in Anesthesiology in 1993.

Dr. Parks started his medical career at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO where held the position of Director of Anesthesiology. He held this position for six years before joining Johnson County Anesthesiology in 1998. Two years later Dr. Parks responded to an opportunity in Wichita, KS becoming Vice President of Kansas Professional Anesthesia and Pain Management.
