A new portal? What’s in it for me?

                 We’re excited to announce that we’re upgrading to a new patient portal for Advanced Pain Medicine. It’s your health record and connection to our practice from any device, like tablets, smartphones and desktop computers. Whether you use an iPhone, Android tablet or desktop computer, you will have full access to all features on all devices. Your current account will remain active until Date of Switch (09/14/2016). We’ll send you an email inviting you to to the new system before that date. The invitation will include instructions for registration, which is a quick, threestep process.

What do I need to do before I register?

You don’t have to do anything before we send the invitation. You can, however, take a few steps to ensure you have all your records:  

Make sure we have your current email. We will need it to invite you to the new patient portal.      

  • If you have messages you want to keep, print and save them for your records.
  • They won’t be available on the new system.
  • Download any health information you might need during the upgrade.

Most health data will be on new system after the upgrade, but there will be a short time when your records will not be available online.
